Refund Policy
Last updated: August 28, 2026
How arosis subscriptions are billed, when you can get your money back, and how to cancel. This policy sits alongside our Terms of Service.
1. How arosis is billed
arosis is a subscription service, billed in advance in US dollars on a recurring basis — monthly or annually, depending on the plan you choose. Current plans and prices are on our pricing page.
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, until you cancel. One-time charges (for example, concierge website setup) are billed once at purchase and are not recurring.
2. Paddle is our Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all orders. Paddle processes your payment, determines and remits any applicable sales tax or VAT, issues your invoice, and processes any refund we approve.
Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Timing depends on your bank or card issuer — typically 3–10 business days after Paddle issues the refund. Any tax charged is refunded along with the payment.
Paddle’s Buyer Terms also govern your purchase, alongside this policy and our Terms of Service.
3. 30-day money-back guarantee
First-time subscribers can request a full refund of their first payment within 30 days of that payment. No explanation required. We will refund the charge in full and cancel the subscription.
The guarantee applies to:
- your first subscription payment on your first arosis account;
- requests received within 30 days of the date of that payment.
It does not apply to:
- renewal payments after the first billing period;
- second and subsequent subscriptions, or an account that has previously received a refund under this guarantee;
- one-time setup or concierge fees where the work has already been carried out;
- accounts terminated by us for breach of our Terms of Service.
Refunds under this guarantee are processed through Paddle, which is the Merchant of Record and legal seller of record for all arosis transactions. The 30-day guarantee is arosis’s own commitment, offered in addition to — not instead of — any rights you have under Paddle’s checkout and buyer terms.
Because arosis publishes to third-party platforms on your behalf, taking a refund does not automatically undo work already published. Ask us and we will roll back what we still have access to.
4. After the guarantee window
Once the 30-day window has passed:
- Subscription payments are non-refundable, and we do not provide prorated or partial refunds for unused time in a billing period.
- You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your subscription stays active and your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Annual plans are not refunded on a monthly pro-rata basis if cancelled mid-term; access continues to the end of the annual term.
We are not able to refund a period simply because a particular AI engine did not cite your business. As set out in our Terms of Service, arosis guarantees the actions it performs — directories synced, schema injected, Google Business Profile updated, content published, monitoring run — and cannot guarantee the outcomes those actions produce, because AI engines are third-party systems we do not control.
5. Exceptions and discretionary refunds
Outside the guarantee window, we will consider a refund where:
- you were charged in error, charged twice, or charged after a confirmed cancellation;
- a prolonged failure on our side meant the actions your plan covers were not performed for a billing period.
Email us with the details and we will review it. Nothing in this policy limits any statutory refund or cancellation right you have under applicable consumer law, including under the laws of Vietnam — where such a right applies, it takes precedence over this policy.
6. How to cancel
You can cancel in either of these ways:
- Billing portal — open Dashboard → Billing → Manage Subscription, which takes you to the Paddle customer portal where you can cancel or change your plan and download invoices.
- Email — write to success@arosis.ai from the address on your account and we will cancel it for you.
Cancel before your renewal date to avoid the next charge. You will receive confirmation once the cancellation is processed.
7. How to request a refund
Email success@arosis.ai from the email address on your account, with:
- your account email and business name;
- the invoice or transaction reference (from your Paddle receipt or the billing page in your dashboard);
- the reason, if you would like to tell us — it is not required.
We aim to acknowledge within 2 business days and to approve or decline within 5 business days. Approved refunds are then issued by Paddle to your original payment method.
You may also contact Paddle directly about a payment or invoice at paddle.net.
8. Chargebacks
Please contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank — almost every billing issue is quicker to resolve directly. Accounts subject to a chargeback may be suspended until the matter is resolved.
